Götzinger Smallgoods has an exciting opportunity for a Retail Account Manager to help grow our retail footprint across NSW and ACT.

This is a challenging and rewarding role with a broad range of responsibilities, primarily focused on acquiring new retail business throughout the Greater Sydney metropolitan area. You'll be representing a best-in-class product in a relatively untapped local market, supported by our NSW Key Accounts Manager.

About you

You're an experienced retail field sales professional with strong knowledge of the NSW FMCG landscape and well-established relationships with key stakeholders—particularly within the Metcash network, as well as independent delis, butchers and grocers.

Ideally, you have experience within the deli and smallgoods category or have worked with a manufacturer or distributor servicing the deli and dairy space. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running from day one.

Key responsibilities

  • Grow sales of Götzinger products through the retail channel.

  • Acquire new retail stockists, with a particular focus on Metcash-affiliated stores, Metcash MSOs and independent retailers.

  • Manage existing Metcash MSO relationships while continuing to drive penetration throughout the Metcash MSO network.

  • Work closely with our NSW Key Accounts Manager.

  • Partner with our distributor sales teams to leverage their existing customer relationships.

  • Manage in-store presentation and stock rotation across the Götzinger range.

Selection criteria

  • Demonstrated experience working with Woolworths, Metcash and independent delis.

  • Established relationships with Metcash MSOs (highly desirable).

  • Strong sales, merchandising and stock management skills.

  • Excellent call cycle planning and time management skills.

  • Refined negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Ability to identify and secure new sales opportunities.

  • Ability to develop in-depth product knowledge.

  • Strong collaborative skills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and outside standard business hours when required.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office and CRM software skills.
