About the role:
Götzinger Smallgoods has an exciting opportunity on offer for a Sales Representative & Merchandiser role. This role demands a range of interactions with varied customer groups that in turn requires the adoption of a meaningful communication style based on the customer and circumstance. Largely self-managed, the role requires the ability to manage time effectively, and demonstrate key competencies such as lead generation. Seeking someone who is passionate about the food industry.
Responsibilities:

Develop increased sales of new and existing product lines by visiting retailers, Dairy and Deli Managers and end users.

Work with distributors to increase end user brand awareness and demand.

Work with customers to develop new product ideas and pass feasible concepts to Head of Sales Manager.

Attend trade shows and other marketing events and engage with existing and potential customers.

Checking stock at retail outlets.

Undertake sales administration.
Criteria:
- Intermediate skill in the use of MS Office, and associated CRM software.
- Ability to adopt a convincing and persuasive communication style tailored to a particular audience.
- Ability to identify opportunities in the market.
- Ability to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to work with customer price variation schedules.
- Ability to work unconventional hours.
- Ability to source, understand and abide by relevant policies and procedures.
- Ability to assess and mitigate risk.
